- The total number of deliberate primary fires excluding those in vehicles in the quarter. This was previously NI 33i
Primary fire is any fire involving casualties, rescue or escape OR any fire involving property (including non-derelict vehicles) OR any fire where at least 5 fire appliances attend. An appliance is counted if either the appliance, equipment from it or personnel riding on it, were used to fight the fire.
Deliberate fire is any fire where the cause of fire is suspected deliberate (excludes accidental and unknown).
