- This metric is a measure of absence from school for children with a child protection plan Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. A session is equal to a half day.
This measure helps us to understand whether children with a child protection plan as a group are attending school. This is something local authorities collect and understand for other groups of vulnerable children. Figures are based on children in need aged 5 to 16 inclusive, who were the subject of a child protection plan.
