- This is the completed immunisations rate at 12 months of children for whom the local authority is responsible who reached their first birthday in this quarter, would have been scheduled to receive a single dose of PCV, protecting against pneumococcal disease. These are infections that can cause pneumonia, septicaemia or meningitis.
In England, local teams and Child Health Record Departments provided data for upper tier local authorities (LAs) and the associated general practices (GP). All English data were collected through NHS Digital’s Strategic Data Collection Service. There are some expections where for some local authorities GP data only is included (excludes unregistered population), which can lead to under-estimates of coverage. GP level data was censored when individual values were less than 5.
City of London is included in Hackney data.
