Did you know we have a dedicated powers and duties tool?
Available to LG Inform Plus subscribers, it provides information on what current legislation gives English and Welsh councils the power to do and what it requires them to do in law. Advanced searching and filtering options make it easy to find specific powers and duties based on legislation, business function and keyword, and results are easily exported in commonly used formats.

Population vaccination coverage - Flu (aged 65+) (12112) Metric type
- Help text
- Flu vaccine uptake (%) in adults aged 65 and over, who received the flu vaccination between 1st September to 31st January in a primary care setting (GPs). All data is cumulative (i.e. total vaccinations administered from 1 September to the end of the month/week in question).
The ambition is to achieve 75% uptake in those 65 years and over; and at least 55% in all at risk groups and maintaining higher rates where those have already been achieved.
For Isles of Scilly, City of London and Rutland, the data are aggregated with another Local Authority to ensure that there is no patient disclosure. When presented as their individual local authorities, these areas make up a very small number of practices. Isles of Scilly is combined with Cornwall, City of London is combined with Hackney and Rutland is combined with Leicestershire.
