Dwellings let to new tenants to social housing: Tenant has moved from outside the Local Authority area (8618) Metric type
- Help text
- This is the total number of dwellings let to new social tenants under secure, introductory or flexible tenancies where the tenant has moved from outside the local authority area.
Included here are only those dwellings owned by the local authority which are let to non-existing (new) tenants, i.e. tenants whose last dwelling (immediately prior to the letting of the dwelling owned by the local authority) was not a social housing dwelling (whether owned or managed by the local authority, another local authority or another social landlord). This does not include tenancies that have been converted from introductory tenancies.
