- This is the number of years of residence that is required before an applicant is accepted onto the local authority's waiting list. If the residency test requires less than 1 year of residency before accepting a household on the waiting list, then this reported as 1 year. Some local authorities do not have such a residency test. Regional and national data will be unavailable.
