- Total assets is a calculated metric from the Whole of Government Accounts. It is the sum of total long term assets and total current assets. Long term assets is the sum of: Property plant and equipment; Investment properties; Intangible assets; Long-term investments; Net asset/liabilities in associates and joint ventures; Long-term debtors. Current assets is the sum of: Short-term investments; Assets held for sale; Landfill allowance stock; Inventories; Short-term debtors; Cash and cash equivalents.
Please note that the data for the Whole of Government Accounts normally has a time lag of 18 months.
