Compound digital and social exclusion measure (3892) Metric type

- The purpose of this metric is to identify areas where someone in that area is likely to be digitally excluded and/or socially excluded. This is based on several metrics covering social characteristics which are known to be factors in an individuals Digital Skills exclusion such as age, health, education and income, and digital measures such as broadband infrastructure, access, skills and use. The higher the score the more digitally excluded an area is likely to be.
Areas are assigned a score based on the sum of Digital exclusion infrastructure, access, skills and use composite - score + Digital exclusion social factors composite - score
