Help text
This is the number of non-major development planning applications (PAs) whether or not they have a Planning Performance Agreement (PPAs), Extension of Time (EoT) and/or Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), that have been granted within the agreed timeframe, each financial year.

PA: This is short for 'planning agreement' which is used in the planning application statistics a shorthand term for covering Planning Performance Agreements.

A timely manner is statutory defined as within 8 weeks or unless an application is subject to Environmental Impact Assessment, in which case a 16 weeks period applies, for all non-major applications.

These are changes of use where the area is less than one hectare and householder developments.

Whilst this indicator focuses on minor and other applications, data is also available broken down by county matter and major applications. This includes the following minor development types: dwellings, general industry/storage/warehousing, offices/R&D/light industry, retail and services, traveller caravan pitches, other developments and the following from other planning types: change of use, householder developments.
