- This is the dwelling stock density estimate per hectare.
Dwelling density is calculated for each area by dividing total dwelling stock, which is the sum of local authority owned dwellings, Private Registered Provider (PRP) dwellings, other public sector dwellings, and private sector dwellings by the land area in hectares (as published by in ONS Small Area Measurements as AREALHECT).
These figures include all self-contained units and bedspaces as at 31 March.
