The Revenue Outturn Summary is collected by Department for Communities and Local Government through returns submitted by local authorities in England. The release provides outturn estimates of local authority revenue expenditure and financing by financial year starting 1 April. These estimates are on a on International Accounting Standard 19 (IAS19) and PFI and an "Off Balance Sheet" basis, except where stated otherwise.
