- This is the percentage of FCA survey respondents who strongly disagree with the statement: I'd rather think about today than plan for the future.
This information is from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Financial Lives Survey. It is a large-scale survey of UK adults, undertaken by the FCA to aid their understanding of consumers in the retail markets they regulate, including in relation to their financial situations and their attitudes towards managing their money. Levels of financial knowledge and confidence provides some useful insight levels of financial vulnerability and resilience. The first Financial Lives Survey concluded in April 2017. This question was not repeated in the 2020 surveys.
