Combined County Authorities - request to Secretary of State regarding Fire and Rescue functions Power

- Where authorised by regulations under Section 30 to make that request the Mayor may request the Secretary of State to require the mayor for the area of a Combined County Authority to exercise fire and rescue functions in relation to that area and/or to delegate them to the Chief Constable or Police for that area.
