- This is the total number of clients aged 18-64 who are accessing long term support during the year, at the end of the year (31 March) and for more than 12 months at the end of the year (31 March). These figures are taken from Table 33 of the Adult Social Care Activity and Finance Reference Tables published annually by NHS Digital. Long Term support encompasses any service or support which is provided with the intention of maintaining quality of life for an individual on an ongoing basis. It will be allocated on the basis of national eligibility criteria following an assessment of need and be subject to regular review.
