Mayor of combined authority - disqualification due to sexual offences etc. Duty
- Description
- A person is disqualified from being elected or holding office as a Mayor in a combined authority in England if the person is subject to:
(a) any relevant notification requirements, or
(b) a relevant order.
Where that notification or order is in relation to sexual offences etc. and is given or made on or after 28 June 2022.
The terms applying to any disqualification are defined by Schedule 5B.
