Schools - governor training Duty
- Description
- The chair of a governing body and newly appointed governors must complete chair and induction training respectively within prescribed time limits failing which they must cease to hold office or be suspended respectively until completed. Subject to prescribed exceptions, governors are also required to complete school performance data training within a prescribed time period failing which they must be suspended until completed. 6 months suspension will lead to disqualification from office.
