Children - emergency accommodation Duty
- Description
- Where there is a risk of immediate significant harm to the child, the local authority must remove the child immediately and notify the responsible authority (and others).
Local authorities must also visit children in placements within specified timescales and notify the Chief Inspector of any concerns about the responsible authority.
