Schools - Pupil Referral Unit closure Duty
- Description
- In the event of a PRU closure direction a LA must prepare a statement of the education provision arrangements to be made under section 19 of the Education Act 1996 containing pupil numbers, ages, the nature of the provision and the means by which it is to be made and send it to the Secretary of State and the Chief Inspector within the permitted period. It must also secure education under the alternative direction until revoked and report on any bid process directed.
