- A local authority authorised officer may enter non-domestic premises without a warrant providing appropriate notice has been given for routine inspections.
Upon so entering the officer may (so far is allowed for)-
Inspect products or procedures;
Test equipment;
Require the production of documents;
Seize and detain goods
Seize documents and
Break open a container or open a vending machine.
