- Description
- Local authorities may grant and must follow the prescribed procedure and requirements in respect of licences granted under section 25 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 for children performing or taking part in activities abroad for profit. LAs must impose any conditions which they consider necessary in order to ensure that the child is fit to take part in the performance or activity; proper provision is made to secure the child's health and wellbeing; and proper provision is made to ensure that the child's education will not suffer.
