Higher education - bursary payment Power
- Description
- A local authority may pay the bursary of £2,000 payable to a former relevant child who begins a higher education course on or after 1 September 2010 in accordance with their pathway plan as a lump sum or by instalments, within prescribed time limits.
The authority may withhold any unpaid element when the former child is not pursuing the higher education course in accordance with their pathway plan.
