- Council tax collection method: Other is taken from the CIPFA Revenue Collection Statistics questionnaire. It is not compulsory to participate, therefore many authorities will not have data. The analysis of the main methods of collection, of payments collected during the year are expressed in percentage terms. This analysis is based on the number of taxpayers at the date of initial billing. Other Collection Methods includes automated kiosks, BACS, standing order, cash, cheque, Payzone, PayPal, bank giro, special arrangements for council tenants and deductions from salary.
