- A sub-set of the Income Deprivation domain which measures the proportion of all those aged 60 or over who experience income deprivation.
This patricular metric is a local authority level measure which represents the proportion of an authority's LSOAs that fall in the most deprived 10% of LSOAs nationally. The more deprived is an area, the higher the IMD score but the lower the rank.
