Violent crime - sexual offences per 1,000 population (8176) Metric type
- Help text
- This is the rate of sexual offences, based on police recorded crime data, per 1,000 population. Figures are calculated by PHE Knowledge and Intelligence Team (North West) using crime data supplied by the Home Office and population data supplied by Office for National Statistics (ONS). Caution needs to be taken when considering crime rates in city centre areas due to the very small resident populations in these areas.
