- This is the number of state-funded academies as a percentage of all state-funded secondary schools in the area. Academies include secondary sponsor-led academies, city technology colleges, converter academies, free schools, studio schools and university technical colleges. This does not include community schools, foundation schools, voluntary aided schools and voluntary controlled schools.
The information is based on data collected via the pupil level spring school census, school level annual school census, general hospital schools census and alternative provision census.
