- The total number of malicious false alarms not attended in the quarter. This was previously collected as BVPI 146i. Malicious false alarm are where the call was made with the intent of getting the fire and rescue service to attend a non-existent event (both fire and special service). Includes deliberate and suspected malicious intentions.
Alarm Calls Not attended is where a decision is made by fire control staff that a reported incident is not genuine, and that attendance is unnecessary.
