IMD - Income Deprivation - score (3903) Metric type
- Help text
- The domain measures the proportion of the population experiencing deprivation relating to low income. The definition of low income used includes both those people who are out-of-work, and those who are in work but who have low earnings (and who satisfy the respective means test). The domain has two sub-sets: IDACI (children) and IDAOPI (older people). The more deprived is an area, the higher the IMD score but the lower the rank.
