- The number of dwellings shown on form CTB (England) and Wales CT1 (Wales) at October. From CLG form CTB column 10, line 1 and WG form CT1 column 11, line A1 plus line D1.
- Help text
- The number of dwellings on the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) Valuation list as at September of the reference year. This metric is the starting point from which councils determine the number of chargeable dwellings liable for council tax in their area. This figure will be higher than the Number of liable for council tax as it includes dwellings which would otherwise be exempt from council tax.
