Methodology:
Modelled estimates, based on individual-level data from the Health Survey for England. The methodology for the MSOA-level estimates is available at http://www.apho.org.uk/resource/item.aspx?RID=96790. The estimates for LAs, UAs,and Counties are calculated by aggregating the estimates and populations for their constituent MSOAs. The MSOA populations were the average of the mid-year estimates for the relevant years available at September 2010. The England estimate is taken directly from the Health Survey for England reported results for 2006-2008.
