Percentage of pupils in good or outstanding primary schools (2157) Metric type
- Help text
- This is expressed as the percentage of maintained primary school pupils in the local authority area who are attending schools whose most recent inspection outcome is 'good' or 'outstanding'. This measure includes the most recent inspection outcome for all maintained primary schools that have been inspected, as at 31 August for the academic year reported. This will include inspections carried out in previous years. Where an academy converter school has not been inspected, the inspection judgements of the predecessor school are included. The term 'maintained schools' is used generically to cover all maintained schools, state-funded independent schools (including academies) and certain non-maintained special schools in England that Ofsted is required to inspect.
