- Percentage of eligible members of staff who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine: older adult care homes
The percentage of eligible people working within older adult care homes that have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
This includes those directly employed by the provider as well as agency staff. Figures are calculated by dividing the number of eligible members of staff who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by the total number of members of staff within older adult care homes eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination and only include vaccinations recorded between the 8th December 2020 and the most recent date displayed above. Eligible staff are defined as those who have not tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 28 days.
Older adult care homes are defined as care homes serving any older people (aged 65+) as identified from the latest Care Quality Commission data on care homes in the older people service user band. The number of eligible care homes are identified using those registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), excluding those that have closed, are not yet open or are not eligible (e.g. not registered for residents aged 65 years and over).
