- The total count for all entitled cases of the higher rate of attendance allowance for people aged 65 and over living in the area. The higher rate of attendance allowance is paid at £83.10 per week and is provided to those who require 'Help or supervision throughout both day and night, or who are terminally ill'. The total count of entitled cases includes both the number of people in receipt of an allowance and those with entitlement where the payment has been suspended, for example if they are in hospital.
