- Help text
- This is the proportion of respondents to the Adult Social Care Survey who felt they had control over their daily life by answering 1 or 2 to the question: 'Which of the following statements best describes how much control you have over your daily life', to which the following answers are possible:
- 1. I have as much control over my daily life as I want
- 2. I have adequate control over my daily life
- 3. I have some control over my daily life but not enough
- 4. I have no control over my daily life.
The measure gives an overall indication of the reported outcome for individuals - it does not, at present, identify the specific contribution of councils' adult social care towards the outcome.
