- This is the number of people that were not eligible for free school meals (FSM) at academic age 15 who reached Level 3 by the age of 19, divided by the number of pupils that were not eligible for FSM at academic age 15. Young people are allocated to a Local Authority based on the school where they were studying in year 11 at the time of the Spring census.
Attainment of Level 3 equates to achievement of 2 or more A-levels or equivalent qualifications. This measure does not consider the inclusion of English & Maths in achievement of Level 3. Data on the achievement of Level 3 including English and Maths are available from the Department of Education in alternative tables provided through this source.
