Food safety - hygiene rating Duty
- Description
- A local authority (food authority) must send prescribed information to food business establishments when notifying the operator of the food hygiene rating given following an inspection (in addition to information required under the Act) and when notifying the operator of its decision to change the food hygiene rating as a result of an appeal; the operator’s request to be re-rated under section 12 or within 14 days of an establishment’s registration.
A local authority must send to the FSA a breakdown of an establishment's rating into its component scores for each of the rating criteria published by the FSA under section 14(1)(c) of the Act.
