Local government - executive arrangements Duty
- Description
- Where LAs are operating executive arrangements under Part 1A of the Local Government Act 2000 their executive and committee meetings must be held in public and the public must be excluded from meetings in prescribed circumstances and in accordance with the prescribed formalities.
LAs must follow the specific requirements and publicity requirements relating to executive decisions which are key decisions.
